Zachary Ryan Bailey, 35, of Nederland passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at his home.
He was born on July 9, 1984 to his parents, Joe Henry Bailey, Jr. and Kelli Keenan Bailey in Port Arhur, Texas. Zach was a longtime resident of the area. He graduated from Nederland High School in 2002. Zach worked in the construction industry until he became disabled.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Bailey Jr, his step-father, Rocky Stampley and his grandfather, Franklin Keenan, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Kelli Keenan of Nederland, his sister, Kinzi Broussard and husband, Greg of Nederland, his brothers, Kasey Bailey of Groves, Keenan Menard of Denver, Colorado, Joey Laughlin and wife, Angie of Vinton, Louisiana along with nieces and nephews, Damian Bailey, Kaleb Broussard, Gage Broussard, Baylie, Kylie and Tyler Laughlin. He is also survived by his grandmother, Patricia Miller of Nederland and grandparents, Joe Sr. and Doris Bailey of Groves as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to Honor Zach’s life will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson.
