Obituary

Wanda Earldene Crull, 95, of Bridge City passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Rose Place Nursing Home in Port Arthur.

Wanda was born on June 30, 1924 in Eldorado, Oklahoma to parents Stella Mae (Spruiell) and William Eli Wilcox. She has lived in the Bridge City area for 65 plus years and had worked as a secretary for First Baptist Church in Bridge City for many years. Wanda did her service to her country during WWII by working as a Rosie the Riveter. She always had a project going on; working in her flower garden, doing crafts, painting and work puzzles. Wanda was a loving person who will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wybrand Crull Jr., three brothers and one sister.

Wanda is survived by her sons, William “Billy” Crull and his wife, Deanna of Bridge City, TX, Wayne Crull and his wife, Mary Ann of St, Louis, MO and her sister, Edna Mae Wilcox of Moore, OK. She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Bridge City, 200 W. Round Bunch Rd, Bridge City, TX 77611. A 2:00 PM funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
