A Life Remembered
Obituary
Vickie Lynn Moran, a vibrant soul who brought joy to all who knew her, departed this world on February 7, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on March 3, 1967, in Port Arthur, Texas, she lived her life with a spirit that shone brightly, touching the hearts of her family and friends.
A dedicated professional, Vickie's career spanned from the realms of dental assisting, construction flagging and insurance, where her tenacity and work ethic left an indelible mark. Yet, it was her passions outside of work that truly defined her. Vickie found immense joy in singing and dancing, often letting the rhythm take her to blissful places. Days at the beach were a particular delight for her, where she embraced the warmth of the sun and the sound of crashing waves.
Vickie leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her parents, Rodney and Marie Moran of Bridge City; her son, Jordan Moran of Bridge City; and her daughters: Alexis Frazee and her husband Jacob of Groves, Julia Droll of Orangefield, and Sabrina Droll of Orangefield. The light of her life continues to shine in the smiles of her grandchildren, Brian Moran, Gracelyn Frazee, and Alice Frazee. Vickie also cherished her bond with her sister, Kristy Moran Marceaux of Port Neches. Her niece, Brianna Moran and nephew, Caleb Marceaux, along with his wife Nohemi and their children Ariella and Noah.
Her heart carries the memories of her late brother Brian Moran and her brother-in-law Sidney "Jesse Stuart" Marceaux, who have preceded her in death.
As we remember Vickie, we are reminded of the love, laughter, and warmth she shared with those around her. A private family viewing will be held at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a public graveside service to honor her life at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas, on February 18, 2025, at 2:30 PM, with final farewells commencing in the gentle embrace of the Texas sky.
Though Vickie has departed from our lives, her spirit will forever be etched in our hearts, a reminder of the beauty she brought to the world.

Vickie and I met when I worked out at the LNG plant in Port Sulphur La. We became instant friends and talked every day and then kept in touch through Facebook. I absolutely loved her! She was the sweetest most caring person and God put her in my life for such a short time but for a reason. I will miss you my new friend! Fly with the angels..

Vickie, my dear friend/sister, was always such a beautiful bright light that shared her love with all. She loved with all of her heart and was the kindest person that touched all. Her love for her children and grandmunchkins was unmeasurable and her spirit will live on through each of you forever. I will cherish all of our late night talks that were full of laughter along with all of our heart to heart conversations. I will miss all of the unexpected visits, which I will cherish and smile each time I think of them. Vicki touched so many lives and has left her imprint on all. None of us will ever look at 11:11 without smiling and thinking of her. She loved her classmates dearly, the class of 1985, and we loved her. We send our love and prayers to all of her family during this difficult time. Heaven shines brighter now with this amazing, beautiful and bubbly angel.
