We loved Velta and spent so many great times together! She’d get us to help out in the flower beds, house cleaning and even helping out with a paper route for a time! My mom would let me practice my driving  just around the corner to Velta’s for coffee. I remember the little cups she gave us coffee in and glasses with cold punch! Loved working in cafeteria at Pease by handing out ice cream, pushing desserts and salads forward and lining up the milk!  I remember singing in the choir at church, Tupperware parties and making  ice  cream in the back yard for 4th of July and eating watermelon! Whatever we did with Velta was always fun and enjoyable! We took our wedding photo in her lovely garden as garden photos are very big deal here in Australia! I was so thankful she let us use her garden and was so close to church! I’m sure she isn’t getting much rest in heaven catching up with all those who left before her. Lots of talking happening! Love to all the family you are in our prayers and hearts. 🙏🏼💕🙏🏼💕

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Ferguson passing, she was a former neighbor. Always sweet and had a beautiful green thumb, she loved her flowers. May you all find comfort and peace in beautiful memories of such a sweet lady.
