Timothy Glenn Williams

Timothy Glenn Williams, 74, of Bridge City passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at his home.

He was born on May 28, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Gerald Williams and Jewel Parmer Williams.

Tim was a longtime resident of Groves before moving to Bridge City in 2000. He proudly served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  Tim retired from Total as a project coordinator after 26 years of service.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bridge City. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf with his wife, Marilee.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Marilee Phillips Williams of Bridge City; his two sons, Kendal Williams and wife Vicki of Beaumont, Michael Williams and wife Christi of Round Rock; four grandchildren, Kaden , Chase, Caroline and Reece Williams. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Rice of Orange along with his two step-sisters, Patti Hartje and husband Bill of Groves, Debbie Mirabella and husband Charles of Orange as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from  11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Tim’s life will be at 1:00 PM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Military Funeral honors will follow the service in the chapel. Graveside service will be at 3:30 PM Tuesday at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Clayton Thompson.
