Obituary

Theresia Lynn  DeBlance Wagner, 90, of Groves passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Spindletop Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaumont.

She was born on December 11, 1932 in Port Neches, Texas to Lawrence Earl DeBlance and Mildred Waggoner DeBlance. Theresia lived most of her life in the Groves area. She retired as a cashier from Bruce’s Market Basket with 25 years of service. Theresia was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Groves, which is now Peace Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Susan Vincent and her two sons, Gerald Vincent and Michael Vincent.

Theresia is survived by her husband, Nolan Wagner of Groves; her two daughters, Karen Borne of Groves and Donna LeBlanc and husband Ricky of Port Neches; her five grandchildren, April Braquet, Jenny Reese, Jason Borne, Ashly Sweat and Ricky LeBlanc; her great grandchildren, Kolby Stroope, Katelynn Swafford, Kamryn Braquet, Drew Swafford, Daniel Bertrand, Drake Bertrand, Reid LeBlanc, James  LeBlanc, C. J. Sweat, Miller Reese and Lucy Borne along with one great great grandson, Myles Miller.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Theresia’s life will be at 10:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff  Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson.
