Obituary

Tammie Lynn Mendigorin, 61, of Beaumont passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024 at her home.

Tammie was born on Monday, May 20, 1963 in San Diego, California to Judith Ann King and Salvador Mendigorin. She was a California native that had moved to Texas in her early adult years to raise her kids, and then lived in Colorado, followed by Massachusetts with the last few years having made Beaumont, Texas her home. Tammie had worked as a customer service professional in the restaurant industry; which she loved, because of her love and passion for people. Tammie enjoyed listening to music, going to concerts, and loved spending to time with her family, friends, and especially her six grandchildren. Tammie was a loving person who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Sapanghila.

Those left to cherish Tammie’s memory are her children, Heather Ramirez of Vidor, TX, Michael Soto-Mendigorin and his husband, Jose of Haverhill, MA, and Lacy Feltman of Vidor, TX, her six grandchildren, Kiani, Kai, Karson, Tori, Ty and John. She is also survived by her siblings, Phil Mendigorin and his wife, Annette, Yolanda Guss and her husband, Gino, Marie Tria, Marcelino Capile and his wife, Rochelle, Cristina Sandoval and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will hold a service to Celebrate the Life of Tammie at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.

Tammie was a beautiful person. We shared many life adventures together. Our travels included the beaches of Maui the Hollywood hills and our long drives along the California coast and many more. Tammie was a very genuine person with a big heart. I am going to miss my dear friend of many years.

Our family is saddened to hear of Tammie passing. To her children; Heather, Michael and Jose, Lacy, our hearts go out to you. We all LOVED Tammie and had great times with her when she was dating our son Matt. We spent holidays and family gatherings with her and we were always happy to see her and spend time with her.

I want to say first of all, my prayers goes out to the family of Tammy,I first meet Tammy many years ago we both worked at RED LOBSTER IN BEAUMONT, she was one of the most positive people you could ever have met, so sweet ,caring and a loving person, every one liked and loved her. If you knew her you know what I'm talking about, I'm so lost for words right now, I just want to say I love you Tammy and may God bless your soul in the mighty name of Jesus until we meet again in Heaven!!!
