Skylar James Finn

Skylar James Finn, 27, of Groves passed away at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

He was born on June 12, 1995 in Port Arthur, Texas to Cody Finn and Janet Guy Finn. Skylar graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School in 2014 and attended college in Tyler. He was a lifelong resident of the area. Skylar worked as a appliance repairman for Community Coffee Company and also owned and operated GT Appliance in Groves. He was affiliated with Bethel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Guy and his grandmother, Toni Peveto.

Skylar is survived by his parents, Cody and Janet Finn of Groves; his son, Grey Finn of Groves along with his mother, Chastity Jade Bell of Orange; his sister, Alexus Finn of Groves; his grandmother, Linda Guy and her fiancée, Kelly Beck of Port Arthur; his grandparents, James and Annie Finn of Winnie along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from Noon till 2:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Skylar’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens in Nederland.
