Sheldon Wayde Williams, 65, of Sabine Pass passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Baylor St. Lukes Medical Center in Houston.

He was born on May 30, 1959 in Port Arthur, Texas to Irene Leacroy Williams and Ernest Kenneth Williams, Sr.  Sheldon was a lifelong resident of the area. He retired as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the City of Port Arthur after 35 years of service. Sheldon was affiliated the Assembly of God church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, David Preston Williams, Arthur Lynn Williams and Dana Patrick Williams.

Sheldon is survived by his loving wife, Annette Lee Williams of Sabine Pass; his son, Justin Wayde Williams and his wife, Candace of Bridge City; his grandchildren, Briahna Williams, Deegan Williams and Chloe Williams along with his great grandchildren, Kavien Williams, Laelynn Williams and Draven Williams. He is also survived by his sisters, Janet Williams-Dixon of Groves, Christy LeLievre of Freeport, Florida; his brothers, Kenneth Williams of Groves, Terry Williams of Nederland as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Community Center in Sabine Pass.
