Sheila Marie Miguez

Sheila Marie Portier Miguez, 60, of Lumberton, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

She was born on May 27 th , 1958 to her parents, Donna and Harold Portier in Port Aransas, Texas. She resided in Lumberton, Texas for 25 years. Sheila enjoyed cooking and was a great cook. She loved antiquing and auctions. Sheila was never without a smile on her face. She loved Trump and was an avid MAGA supporter. Sheila was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend who will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Miguez, III.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Robert Miguez, Jr. of Lumberton, her children, Heather Spell, Johnny Spell, Jr. and wife, Theresa, Brittany Luquette and husband, Blake, 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Harold Portier, Jr., Mike Portier, Bill Portier along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 3:00 PM till 4:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Sheila’s life will be at 4:00 PM Sunday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson.
