Seth William Blackwell

Seth William Blackwell, 37, of Groves passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

Seth was born on September 9, 1986 in Galveston, Texas to parents Kim Noreen (Duvall) and Darrel Ray Blackwell. Seth was an electrician, IE Tech and a safe supervisor working with several companies in the area. He enjoyed the outdoors; going hunting, fishing, camping, mudding, kayaking and he was into body building. Seth was a loving son, father, brother and friend who loved spending time with his children and family.

Seth is survived by his mother, Kim Duvall Blackwell, his father, Darrel Blackwell and his wife, Wendy, his son, Jarrod Allen Blackwell, his daughter, Bexley Grace Blackwell, his sister, Amanda Joyce Blackwell. His is also survived by his niece, Mikayla Noreen Blackwell, his nephew, Isaiah Wesley Blackwell, and numerous aunts, uncles and a large extend family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
