Roy William Garcia Jr.

Roy William Garcia Jr., 70 - Entered into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday April 14, 2023.

Roy spent the first part of his life in Port Arthur, TX. Where he was born and attended school – he was a member of the Thomas Jefferson Yellow Jackets Class of 1971. After High school he was employed as a Lab technician, and was also a Purchasing agent for various companies in the Houston, TX area before retiring and returning to Port Arthur. Roy was challenged with physical ailments starting at the age of 13 years old, but he made the best of his circumstances and made a success of his life despite the odds being against him. His family will always love and miss him, and are grateful for the time he spent with them on his journey through life.

He is preceded in death by His parents Deacon Roy William Garcia Sr. & Rita Ortega Garcia and his son Miguel Alexander Garcia.

Those left to cherish his memories are His Sister Suzanne M. Garcia (Cyndy & Danielle) and His Brother Raymond Garcia (Stacy & Lauren) and a host of familyand friends. Roy’s family is encouraged by the fact that his earthly sufferings are over, and he is in the City of God where there is no more pain…

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas. Roy’s wishes were to be cremated; arrangements for cremation were under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
