Only learned of Ron’s passing 24 Apr 2023. Ran into Ron from time to time. Passed his house daily and thought of him every time. I was late to Scouting and truly appreciated his guiding hand. Will Jeter

I was sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I have good memories of working with him in Scouts. He was aways a positive, friendly, and caring man. We worked on a few projects at Camp Urland and Ron always knew the right thing to do at the right time. His smile was constant, he was a good man. My prayers go out for all you at this time of sorrow.

Ronnie was a very dear friend who loved his Lord, his family, friends and his church.  He will be greatly missed.  Donna and I are childhood friends and have remained close through the years.  May God’s peace and comfort surround Donna and the family now and in the days to come.  We love you.

We met Ronnie and Donna about 50 years ago at Central Baptist Church while living in Port Arthur, TX. We attended church and Sunday School with them and became close friends. We even went camping together. Our Kids became close friends. Ronnie made a toy box for our Jamie and made Barbara a quilt/blanket rack. He even made me some desk name plates. Later after I got involved with Royal Rangers (an Assembly of God scout program) we had a lot to talk about in camping, scouting, and all the things associated with camping and scouting. Ronnie was always very knowledgeable about what he did. He was a very caring person and was easy to get along with. Our prayers are with Donna, Tammy, Kathy and the rest of the family.

I will always remember Mr.Derry as the DE for the scouts and all the camp outs. He was also all of our kids bus driver. He was always so very nice and he will be greatly missed. I am sure him and my dad are talking about scouting

So very sad to learn of Ron's passing. Please know we have the family in our prayers seeking Gods comfort during this time of loss. Ron was truly a servant of the Lord and will be missed. Heaven gained a new carpenter for sure. Tammy/Kenny we regret we will not be able to attend the service due to a previous family commitment. Love and Blessings, Terry & Gwen Rozelle
