Though it's been a few years, I used to run into Bo fairly regular in Groves, living down the road. I'd see him in Bruce's buying groceries for a gumbo or something, and we'd talk food first, but it would always end catching up on all of y'all. Love and prayers for comfort, strength and healing.

I am comforted by the fact that I know Bo was a Christian. It hurts to loose him, but he has gained by our loss because he is in the presence of Jesus. I will never forget the time Bo shared his faith with a gentleman who was having a rough time, and he changed that man's life forever. I was so proud of Bo for reaching out to someone in pain, but I was not surprised because that he the kind of person he was...so caring. I will miss his sweet smile and his easy laugh. He was such a joy to those around him, including me, and he always lightened my day by his presence. I loved that he loved Rita, my dearest friend, and it makes me feel better to know that she was with him when he passed. Enjoy yourself in heaven, dear friend, and know that this is not goodbye, but until we meet again. My sympathy for such a huge loss goes to the family and friends whose hearts are broken. God will get you though. Once day at a time. And He cares about every tear you cry.
