Robert Dale Logan

Robert (Bob) Dale Logan, 67, of Mauriceville, TX passed away on August 2, 2024   Bob was born in Key West, Florida on June 13, 1957 to Opal Williams and Alvin Logan.

Bob was well known for his work throughout Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana as a structural steel designer in the engineering industry. He loved what he did and it showed in the quality of his work.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Holland, his father, Alvin Logan, his step-father CB Holland Jr., and his brothers, Mike Logan, David Harmon and Jimmy Harmon.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 33 years Dianna Logan of Mauriceville, TX, his daughters Taylor Thorn and her husband, Andrew Thorn of Winnie, TX, Laurin Jackson and her husband, Jody Jackson of Mauriceville, TX, his brothers, Bill Holland and his wife, Nancy Holland, Daniel Holland and his fiancé, Kimberly Thorn, Jack A. Logan and John R. Logan. He is also survived by six grandsons, one granddaughter and he leaves behind his 3 beloved and loyal Boston Terriers; Charlie, Annie and Miss Pickles.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.

My condolences to the family. I've know Bob for many years but also haven't seen him for many years. I did run into him in an elevator a few months back but unfortunatly time did not allow for much more than "it's been years, how have you been?" Bob was a very nice person for whom I have fond memories. RIP my friend.
