The first family I laid eyes on when I immigrated to this country was a little boy with huge brown eyes and a smile to light up the moon. He was dressed like a miniature of his dad. Stetson, white shirt, blue jeans and boots. He took my hand and said my name is Ricky Lee and I am your new brother. I’m gonna show you stuff. I knew then that everything would be ok for me with a new country and new family.  Ricky and I spent the next five years every weekend on new adventures. Riding bikes to Grandma Marie’s for huge biscuits, digging crawdads, trying to fish, or just walking with Mark as Ricky tried to figure him out. He had my heart.  When he stayed with us we made him take swimming lessons he didn’t want among other horrible things as he called them. My Mum came for a visit from the old country and fell in love with Ricky too. Everyone did.  Later on we would beg him to bring Rachel over whenever we visited. He always would even if he had other plans. He never once told me no about anything. Unconditional love is what he had.  Time took Rick on different paths but life can’t take away how you feel, it’s a forever thing with some people.  Safe journey little brother you are in good hands. Love you more.

I can't believe you're gone. The world was a brighter place with you in it. I know your smiling down on us all. I wish I could find words to take away the pain everyone is feeling since you left. I am keeping you and your family in my heart always. I will always cherish the memories of you and spending time with you. I love you !!!
