Dear Ray, a very sad day in life to see your bright smile and hilarious jokes go silent. You were truly a life long friend having grown up together and travelled in many of the same circles. Had I only known the last time I saw you would be the last, I would have told you how impressed I was of the vast number of you people you knew and had detailed stories of your friendship for each. I’m so grateful I was one of your friends and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers until we meet again. Rest In Peace my friend.

Ray was one of the kindest and friendliest souls I have known...He was our beloved classmate for many years...He was so devoted to "THE RED HUSSARS"....He tirelessly helped and went out of his way to be there for ALL the Hussars...I know his heart was just that way with everyone...Thank you Ray for the "last escort and chat" to my car after my last march in the parade...Such a gent!! You know I was grateful and you were loved by many..God Bless your family during this time.
