Patricia “Patty” Lynn Baker, 64, of Highlands, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 in Orange, Texas.
Patty was born on October 11, 1958 in Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, California to parents Norma Jean (Carrier) and James Kenniston Wales. She had lived in the Highlands, TX for many years and the last few years in Orange, Texas. Patty received Associate Degree in Education, teaching pre-school at several schools in the area. She worked for Orange ISD and Patty was an avid reader, she was a history buff and she enjoyed writing in her journals. Patty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Wales, her mother, Norma Hofffpauir, her brothers, Ricky Wales, James Wales Jr. and Robert Wales.
Patty is survived by her husband, Mike Baker, daughters, Robin Marie Baker, Stacey Lynn Baker, her granddaughter, Chloe Brent.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, with a gathering of family and friends from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Arrangements for cremation after the services will be entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
