Michael "Mike" Andrew Moore

Michael “Mike” Andrew Moore, 56, of Nederland passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

He was born on May 8, 1963 to his parents, Albert M. Moore and Sylvia Champagne Moore in Fort Worth, Texas. Mike has lived in the area for most of his life. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1981. He worked at Camin Cargo Consulting as a Inspector Coordinator for the last 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike is survived by his son, Taylor Ikner and his partner, Trent of Nederland, his two sisters, Rebecca Moore Hollier and husband, Jaime of Orangefield, Kelly Moore Cannon of Clear Lake, his two brothers, Eric Moore and wife, Lisa of Clear Lake, Mark Moore and wife, Lauri of Hemphill, his girlfriend Ang, and his former wife and step-daughter, Melissa Moore and Kristin Byerly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as a large group of lifetime friends that were like family to him.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 4:00 PM till 5:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, with a service honoring Mike’s life to follow at 5:00 PM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
