Marsha Tilley

Marsha Lee Tilley, age 73, passed away peacefully, the morning of July 20, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born on February 28, 1948 in Port Arthur Texas.

Marsha was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and was so very proud of them. She especially loved her role as Mimi. She was so proud of her "babies" she would call them, as they were her life.

She had such a personality that always made the people around her smile. She was kind and welcoming to every person she encountered and never met a stranger.

Marsha Was always up for an adventure. She enjoyed traveling and making memories with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite place was California. She kept those around her laughing. Marsha had a heart for connecting with others. She was a lover of music and LOVED to dance.

She was a devoted wife to Owen Clyde Tilley of 43 years. They settled in Rocklin, California and recently moved to Newnan, Georgia in the last 10 years.

Marsha is survived by her daughter and husband Kelli and Jeff Bussan, son and wife Jason and Liz Zeringue; Brother and wife Kirby and Donna Collins, sisters Cara Jo Kinchen, Suzette Smith, D'Lane and Monique Viator, and her four amazing grandchildren Alex and Ava Bussan and Emilee and Jakob Zeringue.

She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and joyful spirt. She will truly be missed.

Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 2 PM till service time at 3:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
