I have found high school memories at FBC Groves doing a musical. Mark’s Bass Beat was so cool. What a big heart of compassion along with a strong will to fight to live life against all odds. God bless, MV.

What a privilege to say I knew Mark...way back when. We played in some bands together. I always enjoyed watching how he loved to play his Beatle's bass. I was always outclassed by his musical talent, but he never made me feel bad - he was always encouraging. He gave me his old record player when he got a new one; he knew I didn't have one and he wanted me to have one. He was always that generous. I really enjoyed parties he held at his house, he always included me. I had a lot of laughs with him, great times handing out together at his house, jamming on our cheap, crapy guitars - we were just High Schoolers, but we sure had great dreams! RIP my brother. You made a difference in this life - and in my life in particular.

I've known Mark since we were kids in Sunday School, and hung out for a while in Jr. High. I remember him being a big music fan, and introducing me to the Beatles "White Album." We fell out of touch over the years, but I still cherish the memories. He will be missed until we meet again on the other side.

My prayers are with your family. My favorite memory of Mark was in 1976. I work stars and stripes socks which Mark asked laughing hysterically ,"What are those circles on your legs?" I gave him those socks for Christmas as a gag and filled them with pecans. He told me the nuts were filled with worms. It was not on purpose, but he said I had gotten even for him implying I was plump. Always loved Mark's humor and wit. God bless your sweet family.
