Mark Wayne Peltier, 57, of Port Arthur passed away at his home on Monday, October 1, 2018.

He was born on May 2, 1961 to his parents, George Peltier, Jr. and Elizabeth Berg Peltier in Port Arthur, Texas. Mark was a longtime resident of the area. He worked in various positions in the area before being disabled. He was a member of the Catholic Faith.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Portier of Jasper, and his brother, Alton Peltier of Lumberton, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM till 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Mark’s life will be celebrated at 6:00 PM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson.

I am so sad that I am writing this because a friend has passed. but I do believe that there is a real hope of seeing Mark again and it will be under better conditions then when he left this world. there will be a resurrection of life and I hope to see my friend then. John 5:29
