Obituary
Mark Todd Bodin, 66, of Groves passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his home.
He was born on March 27, 1956 in Port Arthur, Texas to Roland J. Bodin and Patsy Theriot Bodin. Mark was a longtime resident of Port Arthur before moving to Groves in 2017. He worked as a mechanic for over 50 years with several companies including K & M Tools and Con-EX. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Phillips Bodin of Groves; his son, Mark Todd (Boogie) Bodin, Jr. and wife Kandy; his daughter, Heather Jole’ Briggs and husband Justin; his four granddaughters, Marissa Briggs, Bailey Lemire, Maezlyn Bodin, Isabella Briggs. He is also survived by his mother, Patsy Bodin of Port Neches; his four sisters, Melanie Bodin of Nederland, Erin Cuellar and husband Juan of Nederland, Patrice Soileau and husband Kenneth of Woodville, Beth Ramirez and husband Paco of Port Neches along with three nieces and four nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Mark’s life will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, September 26, 2022 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson.
