Maria Figueroa

Maria Figueroa, 80, of Fannett passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at her home.

Maria was born on June 13, 1939 in Cotija Michoacan, Mexico to parents Maria De Jesus Valencia and Rafael Govea. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Antonio Figueroa Sr. of Fannett, her sons, Antonio Figueroa Jr. and wife, Jessica Monserrat Figueroa of Port Arthur, Danny Figueroa of Sugar Land, her daughters, Carmela Hardy and husband, James of Port Arthur, Graciela Pompa and husband, Jose Homero Pompa of Fannett, Marta Lara and husband, Roberto of Mexico City, Esperamza Rodriguez and husband, Mario of Fannett, sister, Maria De Jesus Garcia of Port Arthur. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Juanita and Teresa Govea.

Due to the Coronavirus-19 and the limited number of people at a gathering, the family will have a private graveside service under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
