Luis Torres Castillo

Luis Torres Castillo, 69, of Port Arthur passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at his home in Port Arthur.

He was born on October 11, 1954 in Reynosa, Mexico to Paulina Torres Castillo and Desiderio Castillo. Luis has been a resident of Port Arthur for the last 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, Paulina Flores and his step-father, Manuel Flores.

Luis is survived by his brother, Agustin Castillo and his wife Maria of Port Arthur; his two sisters, Amada Espinoza and Tomasa Ullo both from Mexico along with his niece, Anita Ahunada of Port Arthur; his nephews, Gerardo Espinoza of Port Arthur and Alejandro Juarez of Port Arthur.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Luis’s life will be at 1:00 PM Saturday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with his nephew, Alejandro Juarez officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
