Lucille graduated from Bishop Byrne Catholic High School in 1953. She had a long and rewarding career as a bookkeeper for Bobby’s License Services & Taxes, working alongside her sister-in-law, Alberta Droddy, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and dedication to her work. Her professional life was paralleled by her active engagement in the community, particularly as a devoted parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. An enthusiastic participant in local activities, Lucille delighted in playing games such as Uno, Poker, and Bingo, bringing joy and laughter to those who joined her. She was especially proud of the crafts she created, which reflected her creativity and artistic spirit. Additionally, Lucille looked forward to bus trips for lunch and visits to casinos, where she enjoyed the company of friends and fellow residents. She loved the residents and staff of Bonne Vie. She was delighted to deliver mail to the resident’s and became known as the mail carrier of Bonne Vie. I met Ms. Lucille at Bonne Vie. I go with the singers from Cowboy Church on the Rock that sings there every Sunday afternoon. My heart had an instant connection with her. I would sit next to her as we listened and sang to the music!! She learned which songs really moved me and she would grab my hand and hold it. After the music time was over, I would push her back to her room, we would say I Love You to each other and she would wish me a good week!! I was so sad to hear of her passing but she will forever have a place in my heart! I know you are rejoicing with your Lord Ms. Lucille. I will miss seeing you! ♥️
