I will forever be blessed to call Linda my mother-n-law. She was one of the strongest, most loyal women I have ever met, and never once in the 23 years I knew her did I ever hear her say a single bad thing about someone.
Linda, just know Bub is going to be ok and I promise to take care of your baby boy (your #1 😉) for the rest of our lives. We love you always mother, mother-n-law, Nonnie❤️

My first memory of Linda I was 5 years old and she walked into my grandma Huvals home, I cried tears of joy-I had just met Barbie-she looked just like my doll. For the rest of our lives I always referred to her as Barbie. I always appreciated Lindas honesty toward things and valued her opinion. She was a wise woman and a good friend to me. I have always held the utmost respect for her.Our Christmases and crawfish boils will forever be some of my favorite memories. May God Bless and hold her children.grandchildren and Husband close
You will be spoken of often and never forgotten my friend,

Nonnie will never be forgotten, she accepted me into her family with open arms and I always knew she had love for me in her heart. Even as time past she and Jerry always had a place for me at their table.
Our last visit together was a great one, the three of us sitting in the garage, watching a little football and enjoying an adult beverage and laughing. I will never forget it.
My heart is heavy and Prayers for Denise, Dana, Bubba and Jerry, I know their feelings of loss are 100 fold mine.
Nonnie is free of the illness and will be our angel watching over us but I will miss you.

I never got the chance to meet Linda, but her life did change mine. See, Linda poured into her daughter Denise. Taught her to live big and love even bigger. Denise has changed my life - she’s poured into me and taught me to live big and love even bigger. I’m thankful for the life Linda lived and the legacy she passes on...it will continue to change the world one person at a time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends that are like family, and friends of Linda.

A light faded when you passed and the world will never seem as bright without you in it. I’m blessed to have called you a friend and have you in my life and my children’s. You were my rock, the one person I turned to, I could tell all and you always made me see everything will be okay.
I love you and though I always told you that in every text or visit I wish I could have told you one last time. You are so missed.
Until we meet again my friend, rest easy and soar free.
Always and forever,
Amanda Kay

I was so heartbroken to hear of Linda's passing. Although I only meant her once or twice I found her to be a wonderful and fun Lady to be around. Her husband Jerry and I have been friends since school days and I cherish our friendship greatly. I am so happy that they found each other and had such a loving relationship. Jerry, and the rest of her loved ones, know that I will be thinking and praying for you all to find peace and comfort knowing that she is now in the hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jerry I love you like a brother and always will. Thank you for being my friend and know that although I can't make the Services I will be there in spirit.
Sincerely,
Leonard Wood

Growing up my dad always put great importance on family and being together. Once he passed Aunt Linda made it a priority to always host amazing family events to bring us all together time and again. This meant so much to me and I will be forever grateful to her for all she has done for our family. The laughs and fun times we all made together with her & Uncle Jerry will live on always in our memories. I wish we could have one more of our talks over some yummy crawfish... until we meet again just know we love and miss you so much!

Linda and I were the best of friends and next door neighbors in Nederland when our families were very young in the 1970’s. Sadly, when my husband and I moved our little family to Houston, Linda and I lost touch with each other. I was thrilled to find her on Facebook some years back.
My heartfelt condolences go out to her family.
