LeRoy Joseph Broussard, 98, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Sunday February 24, 2019. LeRoy was born August 26, 1920 in Loreauville, Louisiana to Doria and Marcelitte Broussard. He was a resident of Port Neches for 60 years and a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Community. Leroy was a retired Welder from Levingston Shipbuilding with 30 years of service and a US Navy WWII Veteran serving his country from 1942 until 1945. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife, Olga Broussard, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving relatives include his 3 daughters, Rebecca Landry of Mexico, Paula Elizondo and husband Ronald of Port Arthur, and Donna Gann and husband Larry of Arkansas; grandchildren, Michelle Grimes, Eric Elizondo and fiance Chasity Estes, Kaylyn VanConant, Kristyn Ford and husband Jacob, Tessa Elizondo and husband Zackary Harwood, Kory Gann and wife Nicole, and Michael Gann; step grandchildren, Rick Gann, Misty Small, and Rob Gann; great grandchildren, Jody Viator and wife Kayla, Nathan Elizondo, Drake LaFleur, Cali VanConant, Elliot Elizondo, Ariella Ford, and Avalina Harwizondo; great great grandchildren, Kaden Viator and Blain Viator. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
