Larry Stefflen

Larry Stefflen, 81, of Port Neches passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the UTMB-Jenny Sealy Hospital in Galveston.

He was born on September 2, 1937 to his parents, George Stefflen and Nola Leger Stefflen in Port Neches, Texas. Larry was a lifelong resident of the area. He retired from Texaco-Huntsman as a mechanic after 43 years of service. Larry was very proud lifelong member of the OCAW/PACE Local 423.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and three brothers.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Ronda Stefflen of Port Neches, his two daughters, Karrie Stefflen of Groves, Michelle Stefflen Carter and husband, Adam of Port Neches, his son, Michael Stefflen of Houston. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Stephanie Barclay Allen and husband, Brent of Port Neches, his step-son, Stephen Barclay and Fiancée, Winter Weldon of Port Neches, two granddaughters and five grandsons. He also leaves two brothers, Barry Stefflen and wife, Pat of Port Neches, Jimmy Stefflan and wife, Patsy of Port Neches as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Port Neches. Service to honor Larry’s life will be celebrated at 3:00 PM Saturday at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves.
