Kody Joel Myers

Kody Joel Myers of Groves, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2025, at the tender age of 20. Born on June 22, 2004, in Port Arthur, Texas. Kody was a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend whose life, though brief, left a significant impact on those around him. He was a vibrant and spirited person who was always able to put a smile on someone else’s face.

A proud graduate of Port Neches Groves High School, class of 2023, Kody embraced life with youthful enthusiasm. Growing up, Kody enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, ATV riding, socializing with friends, and listening to music. He also had a passion for animals of any kind, finding companionship and joy in their presence. Kody was known for his silly personality, his ability to make friends easily, and his zest for life. He was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms, embracing both the highs and lows along the way. He took pride in being a big brother, always striving to be there for his younger siblings. His unwavering loyalty and the unforgettable moments he shared with his family and friends will be cherished forever.

Kody’s life serves as a reminder of the importance of connection and understanding in our journey.

Kody is survived by his loving parents Mother: Nicole Brack and his Stepfather Daniel, his Father: Joseph Myers and his Wife Brittainey. He will greatly be missed by his Grandparents: Tonya and Jeff Griffin, Krystal Sasser, Troy and Dianna Sasser, and Darlene and Kenny Firmin. Kody was also a beloved sibling, remembered fondly by his brothers and sisters: Fallyn Brack, Kayden Brack, Kinzley Myers, Jayden Myers and Nolan Lotman.  Alongside his immediate family, Kody Myers leaves behind a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather: David Myers. Kody’s legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will forever remain in the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
