Obituary

Judy Gail Patteson, 65, of Port Arthur passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was born on November 10, 1954 to parents, Elva “Jean” (Lege) and Jerry Daile Theriot. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and she attended Church on the Rock. Judy enjoyed cooking for family and friends, going gambling, fishing and crabbing, playing dominos and cards. She also liked playing darts and being on Facebook, keeping up with family and friends. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Theriot, mother, Elva “Jean” Molbert, brother, John Earl Theriot, and step brother, Kenneth Molbert.

Judy is survived by her husband, Joe Patteson of Port Arthur, TX, her sons, John David Maddox and his wife, Dana of Fort Bennings, GA, Jerry Joseph Maddox and his wife, Sherry of McAllen, TX, her daughters, Kimberly Jean Lee and her husband, Augury of La Belle, TX, Marissa Nicole Chapman and her wife, Janise of Sandy Point, TX, Keyonnah David of Port Arthur, TX, her step sons, Cody Patteson, Josh Patteson both of Nederland, her brothers, Jerry Daile Theroit Jr., Curtis Paul Theroit, Mark Theroit, Dennis Joseph Theroit all of Port Arthur, her step brother, David Molbert of Groves, TX and her step sister, Dianna Gaspard of Groves, TX. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A 3:00 PM funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home 5200 W. Parkway Street Groves, TX 77619, with a gathering of family and friends from 2:00 PM until service time. Officiating will be Rev. Jane Gonzales.
