Joseph Franklin Postula

Joseph Franklin Postula, 49, of Port Arthur passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas.

He was born on April 27, 1970 in Royal Oak, Michigan to his parents, James Joseph Postula and Beverly Pearl Heath.  Joseph has been a resident of Port Arthur for over 41 years. He was last employed by KMTEX as a Chemist and Lab Manager.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and being with family & friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Dugas.

He is survived by his father, James Postula of Battle Creek, MI, his brother, Nicholas James Postula and wife Marisa of Montgomery, Michigan, his brother Walter Stanley Postula and wife, Belinda of Houston, 5 nieces and nephews, and step-father, Dennis Dugas of Port Arthur.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.  Service to honor Joseph’s life will be at 2:00 PM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson.  Inurnment of his cremains will be at 3:30 PM Saturday in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
