Joseph "Jay" Dudley Vidrine

Joseph “Jay” Dudley Vidrine, Jr., 63 of Sabine Pass passed away on July 18, 2023 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.

He was born on July 17, 1960 in Port Arthur to Joseph Dudley Vidrine, Sr. and Anna L. Ferguson Vidrine. Jay played football and graduated from Sabine Pass High School. He worked at Gulfport Shipyard as a welder, he designed and built airboats. Jay was a member of the Assembly of God Faith.

He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Patricia Ann Vidrine.

Jay is survived by his two sons, Jay Allen Vidrine and wife Trina of Port Arthur, Daniel Harris Vidrine of Port Arthur; five grandchildren, Chelse Nicole Vidrine, Justin Allen Vidrine, Hannah Grace Vidrine, Brooklyn Pamela Paige Harris, Gage Harris, and one great granddaughter, Rylie Veillon. He is also survived by his mother, Anna Vidrine Bonura and husband Joe of Sabine Pass; two sisters, Renee Vidrine of Sabine Pass and Lisa Sterling of Horbeck, Louisiana along with several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Memory Gardens under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
