Jimmy Earl Williams, 83, of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Rose Place Assisted Living in Port Arthur.

Jimmy was born on March 1, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Earline (Henderson) and Martin Henry Williams. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and earned an Associate Degree from Port Arthur College. Jimmy served his country in the Air Force Reserve. He had worked at KBTV Channel 4 in Port Arthur as a TV-Tech and he retired from Chevron Oil. Jimmy was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Arthur and in his younger years he enjoyed going for long rides on his motorcycle. Jimmy was a loving person who will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Earline Williams and his brother, Cecil Williams.

Jimmy is survived by his sister, Gloria Attaway and her husband, Jerry of Gulf Breeze, Fl, one niece and three nephews and host of friends.

A gathering of family and friend will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, a graveside service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
