Jaunona Yvonne Caldwell

Jaunona Yvonne Pounds Caldwell, 90, of Pflugerville, Texas and former long-time resident of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Wells Point Lodge Assisted Living Center in Pflugerville, Texas.

She was born on June 18, 1933 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Oneal Pounds and Mary Julia Carter Pounds. Yvonne worked as a legal secretary before settling down as a homemaker in raising her son along with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lanier Caldwell.

Yvonne is survived by her son, Howard Caldwell and wife Robin of Round Rock; her two grandchildren, Alan Caldwell and Cara Caldwell.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2023 in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
