Obituary

James Edward Bellow, 90, of Port Arthur, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 8:30 p.m. at the Bonne Vie Rehabilitation Center in Port Arthur.  He was born on September 122, 1931 to his parents, A.D. Bellow Sr. and Lillian Bellow of Port Arthur.

James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty K. Bellow, his sister, Doris Crenshaw and his stepson, Paul Woodall.

He is survived by his brother, A.D. Bellow, Jr., his grandsons, Derek Woodall and his wife Amy, and Brandon Houston and his wife Crissy, his great grandchildren, Weston Woodall, Skylar Bielstein, Nicholas and Savannah Houston and numerous nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Stephen F. Austin University and Lamar University with a major I Engineering.  James retired from McDermott Engineers and Mustang Engineers after thirty-five years of service.  He proudly served four years in the United States Air Force.

A funeral service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial  Park Mausoleum
