Gregory Dale Roy

Gregory Dale Roy, 73, of Port Neches passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Focused Care in Orange.

He was born on April 12, 1950 in Port Arthur, Texas to Charles E. Roy, Jr. and Josie Binagia Roy. Greg was a lifelong resident of the area. He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Lamar University. Greg worked as a certified public accountant with many firms over his 40 year career. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Denton Roy; his niece, Leesha Roy and his nephew, Dillon Breaux.

Greg is survived by his brother, Brent Roy and wife Myrna; his sister-in-law, Donna Roy; his nieces, Britney Roy Lyon and husband James, Kristen Roy Wheeler and husband Scott, Khandi Seago and husband Colby; his nephew, Zachary Roy and wife Erika; great nieces and nephews, Madison Cumpian, Mackenzie Torres, Micah Lyon, Ella Roy, Alaina Wheeler, Evan Wheeler, Raylee Seago and Cooper Seago.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 9:00 AM till 10:30 AM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday at Immaculate Conception/St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson.
