Geneva Mae Meeks

Geneva Mae Warren Meeks, 98, of Port Arthur passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at her home.

She was born on January 3, 1924 in Morgan City, Louisiana to Robert Polaski and Marie Doucet Polaski. Geneva has been a resident of the area since she was 27 years old. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Port Arthur and a devoted homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her four brothers and her husbands, Vernus Nick Warren and Clifford Meeks, Jr. along with her grandson, Jason Warren.

She is survived by her son, Dale Warren of Port Arthur, her great grandson, Nicholas Warren of Nederland along with extended family and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Geneva’s life will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson.
