He is survived by his devoted spouse, Teri Lynn Beevers, and his children: son Dennis Wayne Beevers and his wife, Meghan; daughter Wendi Reed and her husband, Jay; daughter Meegan Coleman; and daughter Morgin Gonzales and her husband, Patrick. So sorry to learn of Mr. Beevers' passing. We met him when he contacted us to trim his goats' hooves. We always enjoyed trimming for him, he was such a fun person, always had a smile on his face no matter his situation. We're very glad to have known him. Thanks for the laughs, rest in peace our friend! 😊

I had the privilege of working with Gary. He stood out in a room of leaders as a rationale voice of reason and his dedication to working families was second to none. But what really was obvious when you got to know him was his big giant heart and sense of decency. Godspeed Brother.

Another one of the Legendary Thomas Jefferson High School Football players. I only met Gary a couple times but I still felt I was in the presence of a Great TJ Yellow Jacket. RIP Old Friend.

Life will not be the same without you. From our Union days to you convincing me to go to the drag races with you in our retirement it's been a lifetime of memories. I will never forget the crazy things we did or the places we went. Our bond is unbreakable. You worked tirelessly to make work places safer for all workers not just Union workers. You fought the fight it is time to rest. Rest in peace my brother and I'll see you on the other side.

Mr Gary was one of the very few and Best men I have known in my life. He was a father to me and my little sister since we were teenagers. I will never forget his huge presence and how he commanded a room. He introduced me to Funk, Blues and other soul moving music. I will forever love and miss you until we meet again.

Condolences to the family. I met Gary over 25 years ago as a young delegate to the Sabine Area Central Labor Council. We each traveled a lot due to our leadership positions in our respective unions, so we didn't see a lot of each other over the past 20 years. But when we did, we didn't miss a beat. He was funny and a good mentor.
