Frank "Che" Joseph Martin

Frank Joseph “Che” Martin, Seminole resident, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 in Seminole, at the age of 83.  Che was born on July 29, 1940 in Port Arthur, Texas to Frank and Essie (Watley) Martin.  Upon the death of both of his parents, he was raised by his Aunt Fannie “Dee” Watley.  Che worked and retired from Bethlehem Steel in Texas.

Che is survived by his sister-in-law, Juanita Martin and a host of nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

Che was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved Aunt Dee; sisters, Darlene Bellotti, Francis Johnson, Marguerite Zumo and Fannie “Pie” Watley; brothers, Mitchell Martin, Bobby Martin and Marion Acquilliana.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas, under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
