Ethel Louise Norris Champeaux Felder

Ethel Louise Norris Champeaux Felder, 89, of Bridge City passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at her home.

She was born on July 22, 1934 in Port Arthur, Texas to Clarence Norris and Ethel Louise Underdonck Norris. Ethel was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a caregiver in her earlier years. She was a member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Allen George Champeaux and her second husband, Jimmie Felder; her daughters, Janet Champeaux and Carol Louise Champeaux.

Ethel is survived by her daughter, Pauline Johns of Deer Park, Texas; grandchildren, Craig Johns and Jennifer Timmons and husband Chris; great grandchildren, Faith and Emily Timmons; her sister, Jane Hebert of Bridge City; her brother, Ronald Norris, Sr. of Port Acres along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Ethel’s life will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
