Dustin Lawrence Reece, 42, of Groves passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
He was born on July 9, 1980 in West Memphis, Arkansas to Larry Reece and Doris Kay Kelley Young. Dustin graduated from Sabine Pass High School in 1999. He was a devout Christian.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Annie Reece, Harold and Mary Kelley; his uncle, J. W. Reece, his aunts, Shelby Warhurst, Glenise Easley.
Dustin is survived by his mother, Kay Young and husband Andy of Cuero, Texas; his father, Larry Reece and wife Virginia of Port Neches; his sister, Lindsay K. Boggs and husband Michael of Groves; his step-sister, Lisa Stevens and husband Richard of Yoakum, Texas; his two step-brothers, Andy Young, Jr. and wife Lindy of Richmond, Texas, Ethan Young of Cuero, Texas; his aunts, Linda Reece and Linda Stewart; his uncle, Skip Kelley along with his nieces and nephews, Kaylin, Reece, Jett, Libby, Jake and Hank and his fur baby, Cheech.
Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Celebration of Dustin’s life will be on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3749 Lincoln Avenue in Groves from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to share in the celebration.
