Obituary

Digna Leonila Illa, 77, of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Spindletop Hill Nursing Home in Beaumont.

A native of Honduras and a resident of Port Arthur for over 52 years. She was a devoted homemaker in raising her family along with her husband, Dan.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dan A. Illa of Port Arthur, her two daughters, Vanessa Bonilla and husband, Jamie of Groves, Dynnara Illa and her fiancée, Carlos Solerlanzo of Houston, four grandchildren, Dan, Joshua, Samir and Adelynn. She is also survived by her sister, Maria Gonzales of Honduras, two brothers, Simon Herrera and Geronimo Herrera both of Honduras along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the Coronavirus-19 and due to the limit number of people at gathering, the family will have a Memorial Service at a later date. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson.

Para la familia de Digna, mando mis pesames para la familia Illa y estoy orando para que Dios les de fuerza y colme sus corazones.
