Messages of Love

From family and friends

Paul And Delta (Simon) Sawyer August 31, 2019
Della was my ‘one and only Sister’, and she has been my best friend, smart helper and I have loved her dearly all of our lives. She taught me so many good things... and she was the number one {#1} best cook ever... We truly enjoyed many special years, days, hours, minutes and moments in our long lifetime. I was not able to be with her as often as I wanted to be, but what time we spent together was SPECIAL and we have a very Special little brother, Elwin that we both love very much. He has been our friend, protector and helper in many ways. Words cannot express my awful hurting grief for Della's sudden passing. We spoke the last time on August 16th and have many times spoken of death and Our Heavenly Father and of this parting time from this earth. It is truly a sad time. I did not even know that she was in the hospital and on Monday at about that very time I was thinking of her and trying to call her as she was taking her last few final breaths of life. She had lost her cell phone and I called her, but I dialed the wrong number by mistake. I will miss her and will think often of calling her before I realize that she is really gone... Also, it is truly sad that Della died on our MOM's Birthday on August 26, [1911]. MOM would have been 106 if she had lived. I still miss her too! DELLA, I LOVED YOU AND WILL MISS YOU MY DEAR FRIEND AND SISTER. Paul and Delta {Simon} Sawyer 7235 Golinda Drive; Chilton, Texas 76632-1102
