Debra Renee Klix

Debra Renee Klix, 55, of Groves passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Cascades of Port Arthur.

She was born on October 7, 1967 in Nederland, Texas to Charles Leonard Towle and Joann Hirleman Towle. Debra was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Nederland High School in 1986.  She worked as a care provider at Dear Care for several years, devoted homemaker in raising her family. Debra was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Port Arthur.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister.

Debra is survived by her loving husband, Herbert “Rudi” Klix, Jr. of Groves; her daughter, Heather Klix of Port Arthur; her son, Kurt Klix of Groves; three grandchildren, Zoey, Zayden and Zachariah Shepherd; her sister, Cathy Towle of Buna; her brother, Donnie Towle and wife Pam of Lake Jackson, Texas along with nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 1:30 PM till 2:30 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor Debra’s life will be celebrated at 2:30 PM  in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations to be made to Alzhiemers Association in memory of Debra.
