Davon Hagen Achord

Davon Hagen Achord, 22, of Port Arthur passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Port Arthur.

Davon was born on March 3, 2001 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Jeanetta Sue Walton and Robert ‘Joey’ Joseph Achord. He was lifelong resident of Port Arthur and had graduated from Home School Program. He was an electrician with Loya Electric Company. Davon enjoyed going to the shooting range, going fishing and enjoyed acting like NASCAR Driver. Davon was a loving son, father, brother and friend who will be dearly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sharon Tillman, Michael Tillman, LaMaurice Walton, Deborah Achord, Jose Loya, Maria Loya, his cousin, Johnny Loya and his brother, Bryson Loya.

Davon is survived by his mother, Jeanetta Loya, his stepfather, Ismael, his father, Robert “Joey” Achord, his son, Lucas Achord, his grandfather, Richard Achord, his brothers, Aizik Loya, Aiziah Loya, his sister, Alyssa Loya. He is also survived by numerous uncles, cousins, friends and a large extend family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A 1:00 PM funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the funeral home Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
