Obituary
David Glenn Antilley, Jr., 40, of Hemphill passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwwod.
He was born on November 30, 1981 in Galveston, Texas to David Glenn Antilley, Sr. and Janie Butler. David grew up in Sabine Pass and graduated from Sabine Pass High School. He was a resident of Hemphill, worked as a self employed carpenter and handy man. David was very active in theater arts, loved to paint and tending to his flower garden. He enjoyed the beach, long road trips and fishing. David was avid fan of Texas A& M and studied astrology.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James Smith, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Presley Allison Dowden-Antilley along with her mother, Kellie Michelle Dowden both of Port Neches; his mother, Janie Butler of Sabine Pass: his father, David Glenn Antilley, Sr. of Hemphill: his two sisters, Joni Bullard of Hamshire and Jancy Yoakum and husband, Finn of Huffman; his brother, Justin Smith and wife, Angie of Lumberton along with several aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Service to honor David’s life will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens of Nederland.
