Darleen was a very special and talented woman. She had an incredible gift for sewing, decorating and creating beauty in everything around her. I will always remember the wonderful times we shared going to Houston to shop, having lunch and looking at beautiful homes together. Darleen had a unique eye for design and built a lovely home from the ideas she carefully collected over the years. She loved simplicity and elegance and every room flowed beautifully into the next. More than anything , I will remember her expressive personality and wonderful sense of humor. She was a joy to talk with and always shared in the excitement of life’s little moments. Darleen loved Jesus, and I know that faith was important in her life. She will always be remembered in my mind with much love. She held a very special place in my heart that will never be forgotten.
