Darla Rachelle Socia

Darla Rachelle Socia, 44, of Groves passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston.

Darla was born on December 16, 1974 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Virgie (Duplantis) and Andy Cobb. She enjoyed going camping, fishing and to drag racing. Darla was the mother and counselors for all the guys who worked at Brian's Wrecker Service. She was a caring and loving person who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virgie Cobb.

Darla is survived by her husband, Joseph “Joey” Socia of Groves, her two daughters, Shelby Cobb and Alexia Socia both of Groves, her father, Andy Cobb of Groves, her brothers, Andy Cobb Jr. and his wife, Jean of California, Scott Cobb of California, Kirk Tallant and his wife, Cheryl of Dallas, Erick Tallant and his wife Cindy of Port Neches. She is also survived by her brother in law, Raymond B. Socia, her sister in laws, Sharon Socia, Sheila Holland and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
