Messages of Love

From family and friends

Elaine Neal September 26, 2023
Hi, it’s Elaine Neal, “took care of him with love.” It’s true, I did. Here’s the thing.  Some men don’t want to live single all their lives, shacking up(not that he never did) or whatever. Just because they’re handicap. Chris was one of them. He wanted more. I was just the woman of GOD. Who loved him enough to give him just that. Love, and Marriage. Not a perfect life. Those aren’t real.  He said he loved me, and he’s proud of me. I’m his Princess, sometimes his angel. Well, I don’t see myself as an angel. He did though. He was the kind of husband I needed. As much as he needed me. He helped me keep balanced. To kept me, for THE LORD. As HE loaned me to Chris.  I was his legs, and arms, so was my son Neal Ballard. Chris called him son. Neal looked at him as Dad. They talked about changing Neal’s last name to his in the future. He love both of my daughters, Jessica Ballard, and Heather Catalano, and my severe grandchildren, Marshall Ballard, Jasmine Chan, Jackson Lovett, and wanted to met our new grandson, Alex Catalano, and loved seeing his pictures.  HE loaned Chris to us  for 10 years. It was a Marriage between GOD, Chris, and me.  It was solid, as a rock. Built upon the rock of Salvation.  I miss him. I cry daily,  sometimes sad  because, I lost my best friend in this entire world, my husband. Sometimes happy tears, that he is free! He is all better now, in HEAVEN.  With that said, he and I would have agreed.  Not to hide the fact that somehow, we made it together. Through thick and thin. It wasn’t always easy. He wasn’t perfect, neither  am I. Only JESUS is.  I learned so much from Chris.. He was a brilliant man. He was a man of GOD!  Spiritually, he wasn’t handicap. Only physically. Still, he pushed until he made it 57 years on this earth. As a premie with Cerebral Palsy. We were blessed to have had 10 years with him.   I won’t apologize for any of that.  I don’t care about his benefits. It was for him. He needed it. I was here to help him through the last 10 years of his life. He was worth it.  He was Genuine. I love and honored him as my husband.  Yes, doubters, whoever you may have been . He did get his wife, at 47 years old!  He waited a long time, for whichever reason or the other.  He would have me to tell you this piece of his testimony. He would be disappointed if I didn’t.  I’m honored to have been his wife, under GOD, since June 13, 2013.   He deserved unconditional love in his life. And someone to commit and devote their lifelong love to, him, instead of, just his, woman of the year.   That’s LIFE!
